Why would you need to keep the door locked all day you only need to keep it locked during lockdowns

Why have your door locked every day? I thought that you only have to lock your door during a lockdown at least that’s how my school does it my school only locks the doors during lockdown drills so it’s unlocked every day

First they didn’t off the lights. And two they didn’t barricade the door. I know a good amount of schools don’t barricade the door but I think it is necessary for the reason if the shooter does get in. My school doors have many things like a bolo sick to protect us

Once I had a lockdown because a dog that had rabies got in the building. Just your typical lockdown precidure BUT THE DOORS LOCK FROM THE INSIDE.

Did you know at Woodrow Wilson School 19 in Elizabeth NJ, the teachers have to go outside the school and lock the doors but in that school, there are no "School Safe" devices wich makes the teachers go out of the door andlock the door making the teachers get killed before the students which makes thar school stupid, this year, the school has added cameras but still, the teachers have to go outside and lock their doors. ☹️

During lockdowns are school has it on the intercom so we turn off all the lights and I we hide in the bathroom with The lights off which is literally pitch black and the toilets are automatic so sometimes during drill they flush lol but we should take the drills seriously you can never predict when a threat will or will leave so even if the toilets flush don’t laugh the longest lockdown drill I’ve ever had was only five minutes and it echos in the bathroom do if someone laughs it buts everyone in that class in danger and when the intercom tells us we’re in lockdown are teacher swooshes us so we have to be quiet so we can see if it was just someone going home or rainy day leaving or some needs to report to buses or daycare so we have to these drills seriously because one day it could be your school on the news
